Jacob Faulkner is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He graduated CalArts in 2012 with a BFA in music.
Jacob's compositions for film include the award-winning independent short, Maddie by director Zane Rubin, as well as the award winning short, Bad Furniture by Randall Maxwell. He made several contributions to the Scandinavian psychological thriller feature, Blood Paradise. He is currently working with director,
Jacob plays with rock band, The Americans. With The Americans, he has worked on the soundtracks for American Epic (BBC / PBS), No Tomorrow (CW), A Country Called Home (Kickstart), and Texas Killing Fields (Lionsgate). The Americans are signed to Loose Music. Their new album, Stand True, was just released to strong critical acclaim. Their debut album, I'll Be Yours, placed twice in the top 20 UK charts for Indie Breakers (19) and Americana (15). They have toured the US, Canada, Europe, and southeast Asia playing with acts such as The Gipsy Kings, Nick Cave, Dr. John, Ryan Bingham, St Paul and the Broken Bones, et al. They have appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman, KEXP, and joined Ashley Monroe and others on the American Epic: Sessions.

Most recently, Jacob was a co-producer for Hal's Remembrance of life celebration which featured many of the artists mentioned above at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn.
Jacob is also a member of the Los Angeles League of Musicians (LALOM) and can be heard regularly all over Los Angeles. Their upcoming EP will be released on September 25th.
Jacob plays bass for legendary folk group, The Kingston Trio. Most recently he produced their latest album, Still at Large!
